A social app for the real moments in your life — shared with the people close to you, not performed for an endless scroll.

The idea
No infinite feed. No filters, no AI, no strangers performing. Just the people close to you — and what's actually happening in your life.
The Feed
Not a feed you fall into. Moments from the people close to you float around a warm centre — the closer someone is, the nearer they sit. The colour of each moment tells you who it's for.
Moments
A real photo or video, straight from your camera — where you were, the vibe you were in, a line about it. No grid to curate, no perfection to fake. Friends react with a like, an emoji, a few words — or a selfie right back.
The Map
Every moment is pinned where it actually happened. See what's going on around you right now — and spin up a SoMo: a spontaneous meet-up your friends can slide to join, live on the map.
Meet up · for real
A rooftop speaker, a last-minute coffee, a study session — drop a SoMo on the map and everyone nearby can join with one slide. It spins up a group chat automatically, and it only lives while it's live.
Chats
Send it normal — or as a whisper you scratch to reveal, or a melting message that's gone after one look. Voice notes, shared moments, group photos, and little chat widgets for splitting the bill or settling the plan.
Daily Prompt
A single question lands each day — answer it with a moment or a few words. See what everyone in your network shared, all in one place. A small nudge to actually show up.
Profile & Vibes
No follower counts. No likes to chase. Your latest moment is your picture, and the moments that belong together become vibes — little collections of your life instead of a numbers game.
Privacy
Hiro is built small and private by default. You decide who sees what, and the sensitive stuff is opt-in, every time.
Sort the people you follow into your own circles, and share moments with exactly the ones you mean.
Follow someone without broadcasting it to your whole network. Quiet by choice.
A trusted circle can ask for your location when it matters — you stay in control of every share.
Opt in to gently discover people you almost met — serendipity, never surveillance. Off by default.
Post a moment that quietly vanishes after 24 hours. Some things aren't meant to last.
Nearby activity is coarse and anonymous. No precise tracking, no selling your data — ever.
And more
Team-triggered live events — everyone nearby captures the same moment.
Post a single moment together, on both your profiles.
Turn a month of moments into one little recap video.
Keep the spots you love and the moments you want to hold onto.
Draw a zone on the map to seek or offer a place to live.
A warm, scannable code to add each other in person.
Shake your phone to jump straight into the camera.
Split expenses, run a poll, spin a wheel — right inside the chat.
